Another simple hand exercise for Arthritis; keep your fingers straight and spread apart. Then, make a gentle fist without squeezing the fingers too tightly. Slowly move to the starting position and repeat the procedure a few times.
Spreading the fingers wide apart and then relaxing and bringing them together is another simple exercise that can be followed when dealing with Arthritis in hands. Water aerobics and minor weight lifting of small weights also help ease the pain. Besides, increase the intake of vitamin C, calcium and zinc to prevent further troubles.

About 6 months ago I started having off and on discomfort in my hands and fingers. A consult with a arthritis doctor was a bad experience. Went back to my family doctor and had lots of lab work done and the results are within the normal range. Celebrex and Enbrel were suggested. I DO NOT do well on prescription medication. I am 73 years of age and blessed that I am not on any medications except for daily vitamins, ie: D3, Calcium, Fish Oil, Multivit/mineral. I am seeking help because of increased pain in my hands and fingers.
I have been on the internet searching for remedies when I came across Home Remedies For Arthritis in Hands. I plan to try your home remedies starting today and will comment on it in the near future.
