Certain hereditary factors can also be held responsible for causing this disease. Formation of Keloid Scars generally takes place on sites of wounds or skin injuries caused by burns, surgical cuts, traumatic wounds, minor scratches, ear piercing, chicken pox, acne etc.
Keloids are characterized by irregular shaped and flesh colored overgrown scars on the surface of the skin. These hard and thickened growths can be itchy and uncomfortable. Unlike Hypertrophic scars, Keloids are more heaped up and larger in size.

I have had cortisone treatments along with laser treatments. Nothing was working so I made the decision to have my keloid removed. Only to have it return and it hurts. I’ve had one series of cortisone injected already but I’m stating give up hope for any kind of relief from it. It has taken 8 years to form from a pimple I popped on my chest. I would like to hope a homeopathic remedy will help. Any suggestions on what would be best to use?

Very informative and encouraging. On my research to get rid of keloids, I’ve been looking for different home remedies readily available in my part of Africa, currently using ACV for the past 31eeks and it stings and burns terribly! I’m happy with the results and for the pain, will just grin and bear it. Would love to try sandlewood also but honestly never heard or know what it is.
